They can survive only on flake food. But they like a variety of food. They would be glad to have black worms, mosquito larvae, adult brine shrimp, guppy fry and finely chopped earthworms. If the food is not available live, you can easily provide them with frozen packages of blood worms, brine shrimp and others.

You should buy a 25 galloons tank for your Angel Fish. The minimum size is 15 gallons. However there are a lot of advantages of purchasing a bigger tank.

  • A fully grown Angel will feel uncomfortable to herd around with 200- 300, if your tank is not spacious.
  • Moreover there is more security for them in a bigger tank. The parent take more time to eat up the young ones
